Lt. Troy Fergueson

Lieutenant Troy Fergueson, of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, is a twenty-five-year law enforcement professional with a career emphasis in crime prevention, community-oriented policing, threat and vulnerability analysis, and emergency management. He currently assigned to the Youth Services Section and serves as the director of school safety and liaison to the District School Board of Pasco County. Lt. Fergueson oversees the School Resource Officer Unit and provides oversight and planning for school safety and crisis management serving a student population of approximately 75,000. Troy is a subject matter expert in the discipline of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). He has provided instruction in these disciplines to law enforcement agencies throughout Florida and the southeast United States. Troy is a certified CPTED Practitioner by the Florida Attorney General’s Office. Lt. Fergueson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Saint Leo University, in Saint Leo, Florida.
